I resonate and use "the Source" ever since I read Wayne Dyer's, "The Power Of Intention". Two movies based on short stories:

"Stand By Me", based on Stephen King's short story “The Body”. I found the movie greatly expands the short story and captures that early innocence and first taste of life.

"The Day The Earth Stood Still" (1951), based on Harry Bate's short story "Farewell To The Master".
