This book does an excellent job explaining how a nation was mislead into a pointless war. As other countries watched us bewildered as to why we rushed head on into disaster, this book does a good job of demystifying the the process from the beginning. Explaining the thoughts of one soldier before, during and after our government's campaign of deceptions.
It's a short read, he did a good job of using Poe's rule of never using a word that does not contribute to the ending. And, its a bargin at just $10, you can order it at IndyPlanet.com. THis is a happy accident. I bought the book because it was on the sale rack and I thought my kids might like it. Turns out that It's not a 'kids', book and I ended up getting into it myself. It's alot of fun. I like the fantisy 'oz', land that this author created.
