The good thing about this book is not just its window into Chinese history and culture, but also the pragmatic lessons that can be derived from examining the tenets of strategic analysis. These lessons are broad enough that their principles can be applied in any scenario necessitating analytical competition. These are all primarily military lessons, but can be applied to a multitude of situations.

Read this book along with Sun Tzu’s The Art of War and the brilliant tale The Three Kingdoms to get excellent lessons on Chinese history and culture and also a fundamental introduction to strategic thinking.
