Why do people think history is boring? I don't get it.

Hi Jim!
Thank you for your kind offer of friendship, I will gladly accept:)
My last "Time Detective" operation was on my family tree, yes all the way back to the crusades, I wanted to check some things and ended up budding heads with old french (a language I do not speak) but, I will find a way around it.
No guts no glory, right?!
btw. now that we are friends I should warn you that english is NOT my native language and I am too lazy to spell-check in my casual time all the time. I hope you will forgive my errors. As I will forgive yours. What your not planning on making any?? ;)
What is your favourite period in history? Or are you like me, it all has its charm and ties into eachother anyway.
You have a nice weekend too. I might spend some of it on this site. So untill then.....Isabella
A likely story but I would be more careful if you were having to tell a close friend that only your Mother bought your book according to Amazon's reports.
Still I'm glad that book getting good reviews and someone has to win award - why not you?
Jim
I want to apologize for the all the recommendations from me yesterday. I wanted to share the Stoker Award news, and I only pressed the send button once--I'm not sure what happened to create so many messages. Some weird glitch.
Argh...this is terrible...
Again, I'm very sorry.
-Jeremy
Here’s wishing you a nifty New Year filled with noiseless noses, neato nicknames, noble Nebraskans, gnarly narcoleptic nebulas, and novel novels about nut-eating narwhals and novercaphobic gnats.
-Jeremy :)
P.S.—I’m currently offering autographed/personally-inscribed copies of my novel, Vacation, with free shipping for those in the US. If there’s anything you could do to help me spread the word about this, I’d really appreciate it. Feel free to click here for details:

Thanks for sharing, Jim! Some of my favorites are 1984, Slaughterhouse-Five, A Clockwork Orange, and The God of Small Things. They've all inspired me deeply.
Here’s wishing you a yippee-filled Yuletime overflowing with yard-long yams, yapping yoyo-yanking yetis, yak-milk yeast-cakes, and yellow yarn-yielding year-end yard-gnomes.
-Jeremy :)
don quixote but the book that probably affected me the most was the rise and fall of the 3rd reich which i read when i was in the 8th grade.
how about you?
Hi Jim!
If you don't mind sharing--I was wondering, what's your favorite novel of all time?
Here’s wishing you a fantastic day filled with fabulous friendships, fanciful festivities, and frolicking phantom footstools.
-Jeremy :)
PS--I'm glad to see that you gave four of favorite novels five stars.
