I enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought I would. I blame all of the history he brings into it. Reading about Johnny Appleseed and the introduction of potatoes to Ireland was great and he certainly has some interesting ideas about the source of religion. The last chapter has convinced me to never eat non-organic potatoes again. Since the potato isn't even one of the dirty dozen I don't even want to think about what I'm putting into my body eating non-organic spinach twice a day. A lot to think about. ]]>
