| Being a Sufi and all, I pretty much have to give Ibn Arabi a five. He pretty much defined what it is to be a Sufi. Even with that aside though this book is amazing. It is hard to find books that really truly make a person drunk with words, but this o...more | |

| This book doesn't really know what it wants to be. On the one hand the illustrations and length make it seem like a children's book, but the content covers some things that I wouldn't be all the comfortable reading to a small child. I would honestly...more | |

| This book caught me by surprise. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. I honestly knew nothing about the path of blame when I picked this up, and the book does a really good job explaining what the path of blame is and how it is practiced. It...more | |

| This book is... it's okay. It's spread a little bit too thin. If it was just about Sufi dreamwork or Jungian Psychology it would be a much better book. It could just be that this book wasn't my cup of tea. I personally don't see the connection betwee...more | |

| This book kind of just is. It's tough to rate and review a book like this since it is at it's heart just a collection of sayings. The bits in each chapter that explain the different aspects of being a desert father/mother are nice, but a little forge...more | |

| I picked this one up to see if there was a way to reconcile my Sufi path with my grandfather's Russian Orthodox path. This book does a pretty good job of bridging the gap. Some of the passages are much stronger than others. The first two and the one...more | |

| My Russian Orthodox grandfather recommended this book to me, and I'm glad that he did. So many books on saints in any tradition spend at least part of the book trying to convince the reader of what the saint meant by this action or that saying. This...more | |

| I REALLY wanted to like this book. I tried very hard, but I just couldn't. It has nothing to do with the topic. Hildegard was an amazing woman. Her visions, art, and music really are treasures. This book though does something that personally rubs me...more | |

| Sometimes the best books are small. I read this entire book in one sitting. I'm not a Catholic nor am I in any kind of monastic tradition. That doesn't really matter though. The wisdom in this short book applies to all people of faith. Anyone looking...more | |

“I can never read all the books I want; I can never be all the people I want and live all the lives I want. I can never train myself in all the skills I want. And why do I want? Description:
I do ebook reviews for self published authors. Not all of them are listed in goodreads, so I'll post them here and where the book is published. If you like what you see, and you would like me to do a review of an ebook that you have posted some where, send me a message and I'll see if I can fit you into my schedule!
If anyone is curious this is the break down of my reviewer ratings:
***** This rating is for the best books that I've read in recent memory. This book will need to be well edited, plotted well, and have strong entertainment value to get this rating. This would be a book that I highly recommend reading.
**** This rating is for a strong book. There are some typos, and parts of the plot either aren't fleshed out or aren't very strong. This would be a book that I would recommend reading.
*** This rating is for a book that has potential. There is a spark of something good, and the plot is interesting. There are a good number of grammatical errors, and the characters are a little bit cardboard. If some one likes the particular genre the book is from they might enjoy this book.
** This rating is for a book that needs to be edited and plot points need to either be fleshed out or rewritten. As the book is I wouldn't recommend reading it.
* There isn't anything redeemable about the book. I will only give a one asterisk if the book makes no sense at all, has abusively bad grammar, or if the book is veiled hate speech.
NOTE: If I give a two asterisk rating to a book that you wrote I would be willing to reread the book and re-review the piece once it has been edited and fleshed out. I will only re-review a piece once.

Description:
I love to write random short stories that cross my mind while I'm walking around. Some of them come from questions that I ask when watching B vampire and zombie flicks. Others from my job, and still others from an internal urge to write a funny story. I hope that you enjoy! ^.^ Not all the stories need the parental advisory, just a couple of them get violent.

Description:
Life is hard for many people. So is the afterlife for that matter. Hazel wakes up crammed into a church that has no windows and no doors. Eventually she does make it out and goes on a journey with a rag tag group of people. The story also weaves her memories of life and dreams into each chapter. I hope you enjoy! ^.^
This is also now published on Smashwords for convenience's sake. :)
