We in the Readers' Society agreed that Wally Lamb is a very good writer, but this book could have been much shorter, and we all would have liked it better. It just went on and on. Everyone gave it between two and a half and three stars. But since I can't give half stars on goodreads, I feel more inclined to rate down, than up. ]]>
