i have 100 book list that you are going to read with me..
Yes i have finally found a way to talk to you at school :]
LHH
Yet another picture where you look different. Are you quadruplets or something?
Anyway, I do like the new glasses.
I see that I beat you at chess, again! It says that I won on time, but I think I won on awesomeness!!!
Welcome to the Picture-of-a-book-on-a-table avatar Club. So far it's just me, you and Montambo, but I feel with time the idea will spread.
I'll know you're cheating because you call me Amanda! Hahahahahahaa! I'm kidding! Though it is nice to know that you're only mixing up our names and not the actual people.
I can't believe you didn't get flagged yet! My middle finger pic got flagged in a day. King Dinosaur has had two controversial avatars in a row--no flag. You have a peen 'shroom--no flag. Goodreads is sexist... :)
From message 46 in a haters thread: You said Amelia, I didn’t take that picture…
Alfonso!!!!! Damn you. Neither one of us is going to have a crush on you for much longer if you can't tell us apart! That's twice in one week! ;)
Here's my response.
I loved the first Batman movie with Micheal Keaton, Kim Basinger and Jack Nicholson. Batman Returns was the beginning of the clownery(I don't care if it's a word or not) of the Batman series. I don't even want to talk about the rest of them before Batman Begins. And oh yeah, Tom, please don't take this to offense, but I believe you're just a hater of dark movies, which brings me to this point. Everyone knew that the Batman Begins movie was going to go completely dark and those who were not with it fell off, and those who were said, "Yeah, I'm still down with the Batman regardless in what direction his character goes!" I say if you're a true movie fan, you pick what movie genres you like and keep it simple. And by the way, I hope Batman comes through the screen of the movie theatre you're in and swoops you off to a Gotham jail where you'll spend the rest of you're days being The Jokers little wuss!
This is the persons comment.
I really disliked BATMAN BEGINS, a big ugly brutal mess of a movie. I much prefer BATMAN RETURNS, which balances the fear and the fun more skillfully.
I'm okay with Bruce Wayne carrying around some family demons, but in BATMAN BEGINS he really should just get some therapy. I'm looking forward to DARK KNIGHT largely to root for the Joker to kill Batman off once and for all.
Wait while I send you my response.
OK. I signed up for chess.com and I am ready to pummel you.
P.S. I am a nerd enough to sign up for chess.com, but I'm cool enough to tell it on the mountain.
Well, last night I met a bunch of GRers for drinks and dinner. Mort and Motambo were there, so I heard all about your ass kickin moves! I hear you're going to try your hand at beating Motambo next...good luck man, she's a clever one! Watch your ass...
You had a birthday!!!!! Yes, I remember when you used to be 99, but now you are ONE HUNDRED! I'm amazed--you look very young for hitting the century mark. All joking aside, I hope you had a lovely one and that recovery will be just as sweet as the drunken-path that led you here. :) Happy, happy, happy!
Are you in bed in your profile pic? If so, what are the chances that the portion of blanket touching your face is the same part that your cousin's unders were on? hmmmmm?
Alfonso, your latest picture looks like a little boy who is crying because he's been sent to his room and it wasn't his FAULT, it was his mean brother's fault because HE started it.
