Give it 4 stars because I like this type of book not because it it anyting amazing. The ending was kind of anticlimatic but there are 14 books in this series. I will read a couple more mainly because I am curious if the author keeps the same characte...more

Elyse is on page 650 of 814 of The Eye of the World: almost done. I will read the second book right away (though still leary of a series with 14 books)If you like Game of Thrones type books, you should like this BUT not if you want gore & violence. So far, much tamer and more magic, no dragons but there are other creatures.
