I love these books so very much. I remember staying up reading them late at night as a kid. It seems that I'm doing that now as an adult.

This was one of my favorite books as a kid. I'd stalk the children's librarian at our library on "New Book Day" and this was one of the new books that never hit the shelf. She handed it to me with a smile. Loved the whole series!

“Electricity was a reality in the universe when Moses led the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt. This is true of all natural laws; they have always existed but only when understood may they be used.”
Ernest Holmes, The Science of Mind

Rumi
“Respond to every call
that excites your spirit.”
Rumi, The Essential Rumi

Warren Ellis
“Hi. I’m Spider Jerusalem. I smoke. I take drugs. I drink. I wash every six weeks. I masturbate constantly and fling my steaming poison semen down from my window into your hair and food. I’m a rich and respected columnist for a major metropolitan newspaper. I live with two beautiful women in the city’s most expensive and select community. Being a bastard works.”
Warren Ellis, Transmetropolitan, Vol. 4: The New Scum

Terry Pratchett
“It was octarine, the colour of magic. It was alive and glowing and vibrant and it was the undisputed pigment of the imagination, because wherever it appeared it was a sign that mere matter was a servant of the powers of the magical mind. It was enchantment itself.
But Rincewind always thought it looked a sort of greenish-purple.”
Terry Pratchett, The Color of Magic
