"So far, I'm in love with this book. Brené Brown shows us up front how things that we might consider acts of vulnerability are actually acts of courage. That thinking has turned me upside down and I'm grateful for the rush of blood to my head. I've been a long proponent of what Brown suggests, but her examples delve deeper into this way of thinking for me to apply as a parent of boys." Mar 26, 2013 07:45AM

Rumi
“Beyond our ideas of right-doing and wrong-doing,
there is a field. I’ll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase ‘each other’
doesn’t make sense any more.”
Rumi

Frank Zappa
“So many books, so little time.”
Frank Zappa

Albert Camus
“In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer.

And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger – something better, pushing right back.”
Albert Camus

Jennifer DeLucy
“Let the darkness find you if it must. Throw off the quick and tempting escapes, and seek help only from those who would teach you to grow, feed your soul, embrace your heart, but would not steal away your journey.”
Jennifer DeLucy
