Eh, I mean, you all read this in high school, right? No? I'm glad I didn't. I would have spent too much time obsessing about all the sexual misconduct Wilde was pseudodiscreetly attributing to Dorian without mentioning any specifics.

The Lord Henry character is so full of garbage, with the occasional cutting truth. The one spawning this update, roughly: It is the simplest thing in the world to be kind to people one does not care about.

VERY colloquial in language, and wanders a bit. I'd especially recommend it to a layperson with very little science background who wants to change that a bit and wants a point of view that contrasts with a Dawkins or a Lawrence Krauss.

Mostly inspirational. Very quirky. Amusing in a really sad way how the 2003 Iraq War is the author's go-to example of tyrannical politics, but you can read around that if you need to.
