A very worthwhile story that met the needs of a "traditional" SciFi fan - solid, with good character development and a very intriguing plot, matched with an imaginative "universe" that in itself is very stimulating.

Falls into my enjoyment of historical fiction, well plotted and of course I felt it added to my appreciations of the times. This said, I can't say I went and did further research on accuracy of the historical setting.
