Not a hugely detailed book on the Leipzig campaign but I felt, even with it being somewhat lacking in detail, it was worth reading for all but the most knowledgeable of Napoleonic students. Good maps and use information abound, as usual.

Excellent, but small, book on one of the least known wars of South America. A really brutal bloodletting that Paraguay has still barely recovered from. The idea that a moderate sized power would dare take on two huge neighbors, Brazil and Argentina, ...more

A really slim volume on one of the early workhorse tanks of the WWII German army. It gives some nice color drawings and useful information but is strictly focused on the Pz 38(t) so nothing on the Hetzer, for example.

Interesting book on a little known area. Not directly "wargame" oriented, and not too many history buffs seem to care, but the book was well written and informative.

This is a good book on a specific area of WWII German naval warfare. It covers the subject well but is lacking in some of the finer details, like maps. The author's style is informative and he doesn't seem to have a particular bias. It was a fast and ...more

An excellent book with cool illustrations of a Steampunk nature. It is a military uniform book, mostly. I enjoyed the illustrations and the history of the units. I only wish there was more and if they publish further histories of this world I'll buy ...more

“When you cross over into the weird stuff, there's no going back. Hector has a theory on it. Calls it the law of 'Anomalous Phenomena Attraction.' He explained it to me once. Didn't really pay attention, but it boils down to 'weird shit pulls in more weird shit.”
