Wow! I thought my siblings and I had a bizarre childhood, but nothing compares to the eccentric parents of Jeanette Walls. I couldn't decide if I loved or hated them by the end.
I really enjoyed reading her childhood memoir. Her writing is decent. My one issue was her constant overuse of the term "us kids". Seeing that over and over was a bit distracting.
Otherwise - Great Book!...less
