This book SAVED my weekend. I was so sick and had to cancel all my fun plans which sucked. But I started and finished this whole book in a day and a half. It was that good. It made the weekend go by faster. If you like history and historical fiction, you should read this book! It's well done and Moran lets you know at the end which parts she made up and which were based on records. Really disappointing. Like "Three cups of tea"...such a great story and it's just a let down of a book because of the poor writing.
