2 starts might be a little harsh, but this book has plenty of flaws. If you want a fun beach read give it a try

The movie may have been better, but I saw the movie first so the suspense was gone while reading the book. I highly recommend the book and movie.

Very interesting history of the time period, Jefferson president, slow mail, US trying to establish itself in the world. I really enjoyed the history, I wasn't taken with the writing style but never the less, a very good book.

Enjoyable book to read. Good apocalyptic book, read World War Z before this one, then if you liked it read this one.
