I was working on my Master's degree in film studies until recently when I decided to take a break from the life of academia. Not really sure what I plan on doing with my life at this point but as of recently I've gotten a little closer. I just took a job doing page design for a smallish suburban newspaper near Buffalo. It's not exactly what I want to do with the rest of my life but at least I'm within my goal career field which is the publishing world. Several months ago this prospect of "not knowing" would have freaked me out.
