K.S.R. Kingworth’s fascination with spiritually-oriented literature and the nature of the spiritual quest began when she was in grade school, during which time she taught herself to read Greek. Kingworth has been influenced by the foundation works of many of the world’s major religions, including the Dammaphada, Tao de Ching, Qu’ran, the Holy Bible and most markedly, by The Book of Mormon.

Kingworth’s second language is French, which she has spoken primarily for a fourth of her life. She raised her children with French spoken as the home language. Kingworth raised her children in New Orleans, Montreal then Vermont.

Recently, Kingworth turned to her second career of writing full-time. The first book in the Secret Speakers series, The Quest for Drinkwater Bound, was born as a result.

Kingworth was born an identical twin on March 20, 1962 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Before graduating with a degree in Creative Writing from the University of Utah in 1987, she was taught by Mark Strand, former Poet Laureate of the United States. To flesh out her studies, Kingworth studied English Literature at the University of Cambridge, in England.
