about this author
Orson Scott Card told his wife, “I love her writing! She writes some great stuff!” To all my Goodreads friends, Secret Speakers series comes out this fall. Think Wizard of Oz meets Chronicles of Narnia. People are saying the series is a complete contrast to Pullman's Dark Materials. As Secret Speakers approaches publication, I've been amazed at how many people have come out of the woodwork to support me in this process. To my Goodreads friends, you are my heroes! Because of you, Secret Speakers will come to life! K.S.R. Kingworth’s fascination with spiritually-oriented literature and the nature of the spiritual quest began when she was in grade school, during which time she tau...more |

description:
Tharin Zothiker knows three things: She misses her father and brother whom she has not seen for nine years. She doesn't know if they are alive. And, after nine years of being kept in a cellar by day, with only her dog to keep her warm, she is about to be freed. Tharin's dog is taken from her just hours after her release, and she gets knocked unconscious in her attempt to get him back. The gods make a bargain with her: she will wake up and be able to find her dog, her brother and her father if she will agree to find the Door of Reunion so that the children of the gods can return home. Secret Speakers and the Quest for Drinkwater Bound is a tale of love, redemption and sacrifice that leaves you quenched, yet somehow thirsting for more.

Hi Karey,
Thank you for the invitation to join "You Critiques." I appreciate it. I added the first chapter of my book to my GoodReads profile. I am wondering if there is anything else I need to fulfill?
This is the first book I published. It was written to educate the masses. I hope this will help my vision take flight.
I am new to the site and really do not understand all of the mechanics, yet! Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you Karey. I wish you continued success.
Be well.
All the best, always,
Lori L. Spencer
Hey, K.S.R...Thanks for the info. and the invite into the Critique Group...but other than my reviews and the occassional note/letter/card to family or friends...that's all the writing I do...it's funny I used to love writing stories/poems...but somewhere along the way I've lost that or at least don't have the time or the brain power...SMiLE...to indulge in it anymore...but if something should happen to change that I'll be sure to post it on that particular site...Happy Reading & Writing to you.

Hi K.S.R,
I enjoyed reading your interest section. I love all those things too :) I hope you're having a terrific week! God bless you.
Peace, Jana
Thank you, Karey, for inviting me to join your group reading Oprah's Book Club's "A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose" by Eckhart Tole. The topic is wonderful & the book sounds engaging, worthy of a group read.
Hey Karey! Thanks for your invite to the A New Earth discussion group. I would love to read it with you all. Unfortunately, I'm currently bogged down with reading for school, so enjoy and hopefully I can find the time to read it in the near future!
K.S.R. Kingworth...Thanks for the invite into your circle of friends....wishing you all the best in 2008...looking forward to sharing chats, reviews and any/all book recommendations you may have...Happy Reading :-)
Hi! I had fun going through your shelves! Especially the children's reads:) You have a very lovely photo btw!
Thank you for adding me as a friend. Looks like I'll be adding even more books to my "to be read" stacks around this house!
I want to apologize for the all the recommendations from me yesterday. I wanted to share the Stoker Award news, and I only pressed the send button once--I'm not sure what happened to create so many messages. Some weird glitch.
Argh...this is terrible...
Again, I'm very sorry.

Here’s wishing you a nifty New Year filled with noiseless noses, neato nicknames, noble Nebraskans, gnarly narcoleptic nebulas, and novel novels about nut-eating narwhals and novercaphobic gnats.
-Jeremy :)
P.S.—I’m currently offering autographed/personally-inscribed copies of my novel, Vacation, with free shipping for those in the US. If there’s anything you could do to help me spread the word about this, I’d really appreciate it. Feel free to click here for details:

Thanks for sharing! I've never read Wee Sir Gibbie of the Highlands, but I'll definitely check it out. I'm having a hard time narrowing it down to one favorite, but some of them are 1984, Slaughterhouse-Five, and A Clockwork Orange. And The God of Small Things.
Here’s wishing you a yippee-filled Yuletime overflowing with yard-long yams, yapping yoyo-yanking yetis, yak-milk yeast-cakes, and yellow yarn-yielding year-end yard-gnomes.
-Jeremy :)
My favorite novel of all time is Wee Sir Gibbie of the Highlands, by George MacDonald, who was C.S. Lewis' favorite author. What is your favorite novel of all time, Jeremy?
Hi KSR!
If you don't mind sharing--I was wondering, what's your favorite novel of all time?
Here’s wishing you a fantastic day filled with fabulous friendships, fanciful festivities, and frolicking phantom footstools.
-Jeremy :)
