It took me a little bit to get into this book but once in I couldn't stop moving forward. While there is not much action or adventure to keep one interested, there are unknowns that are alluded to and only revealed little by little throughout the book that keep you wanting to know more. This was an engaging and informative book. I liked the angle of not focusing on just great companies but rather looking more deeply at the average companies that were able to become great. The concepts are definitely worth remembering and many are already sprinkled throughout business literature. This was a really short read. It was an interesting peak into Ayn Rand's philosophy and a world where "we" rules. The voice and some of the images still float in my mind several days after I finished it. Whereas I can't say I completely agree with the philosophy presented in the book (and the end does get a bit preachy), it did enhance my interest in reading her longer books The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged. ]]>
