I honestly don't expect much from a Stephanie Plum novel. A few laughs, some sexy Ranger or Morelli action, a couple of explosions...perhaps an appearance by Bob and/or Grandma...that's pretty much all it takes to make me happy. Finger Lickin' Fifteen managed to not just make me happy but also make up for the abomination that was the last Between the Numbers novel, Plum Spooky. At a rough patch in my life when I needed some really good laughs, Finger Lickin' Fifteen stepped up and did its job, making me actually laugh out loud several times. Sure there's not much intellectual value in a Stephanie Plum novel....but it's good fun and a great distraction when real life becomes too much.(less)

This series was odd...on the one hand, I fell in love with a lot of the characters -- especially the Gunner -- but on the other hand, I found it really hard to follow most of the time. This third book wasn't any different. While I loved the ending to the series and was satisfied with how things played out, I still had a hard time following along with the story. I'd still recommend the series, though.(less)
