Ruby, I agree. Let me preface by saying I'm a die hard KMM fan. Love, love, love her writing. Having said that, ShadowFever's ending seemed like she dragged together everything you'd read or experienced in the book to tie off all the loose ends. I know, from reading her blog she worked a long time on this final book, but it didn't come across that way to me. There were too many convenient conclusions to some characters. And we hadn't been left any breadcrumbs to give even a hint of how it would end. When certain characters were revealed, you were left with 'Where did that come from?'
This is probably just me, and other readers will feel like she'd captured everything they thought or wanted, and I'm okay with that. I just felt a bit cheated.
This won't stop me from reading anything further that Ms Moning releases, but I had to have my say, for this book.(less)"
