I am the author of five books of horror stories for children (totaling one-quarter million books in print), published by Scholastic. In addition, I have completed around 23 feature-length screenplays. One script is currently in development.

My writing awards and nominations include -- the Zola Award for Screenwriting at the 2006 Pacific Northwest Writer's Association Conference; Winner of the 2002 Amazing Short Script Challenge; 3rd Place Winner at the 2005 Washington State Screenplay Competition; Semifinalist at the 2000 The Don and Gee Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting; Finalist at the 2002 and A2000 Washington State Screenplay Competition; and a Semifinalist at the 2000 Chesterfield Competition.

My writing has appeared in Billboard, Playboy, Jazz Times, and various Yamaha Music magazines.

Also, I have edited juvenile books for Scholastic, Baker & Taylor, and Chronicle Books.
