How did I miss not putting this one in? Loved the book....the story line is so important for today. Wowsers! Patting myself on the back for finishing this over 700 page book!

This went from Columbine and the shootings there, to the Civil War era ancestors of the main character, to a women's prison, the Katrina flooding, to weird affairs and marriages, to incest, to alcoholism and drug abuse, etc. etc. Probably there were three or four books in this one! Finally finished. Why was this one so hard to read? Maybe I got too caught up in the "True Blood" tv shows to read the actual books? Oh well, I"m finally done with this one. ]]>
