I persisted in reading the whole series because the first book really sucks you in. Unfortunately, King rarely returns to the kind of gripping storytelling in the subsequent books. There are a couple of times he comes close, but in the last three books, he starts digging a hole for the story. The only good thing about this book is that Mr. King finally stops digging....less
