He starts with a thought experiment and then proceeds to address the moral question from different perspectives. The chapeter on business ethics is especially good. ...less

this is a great book if you are looking for a compendium of ecological degradation and destruction...the first half simply exhausts with all the evidence for why tomorrow will bring nothing but environmental catastrophy...but, if you want to know the details, the ins and outs of impending crisis (e.g. drought, famine, warming, etc.) this is the book...I didn't read the seond half yet, which is supposed to provide a plan to prevent the apocalypse....less
