Howdy Ginnie--
I actually did post my review of "The Diving Bell and The Butterfly" movie here at GoodReads at this url: http://www.goodreads.com/story...
I'm not sure, however, if such posts are presented in the updates. At any rate, the movie was definitely everything you said it was some months ago. Although I had to wait until it came out on dvd, it was well worth that wait.

Hi friend Ginnie! See, we are friends already, or I couldn't be making this comment on your profile! thanks for your message & for that poem by Ginsberg, which I love...
yrs,
JT.
Yay Ginnie! This party just isn't the same when you're not in attendance. We put on a brave front and make a lot of smalltalk and tell stupid jokes to each other, but it's really a drag. Glad to spot you here finally, in your usual place holding court by the punchbowl! Now we can have fun again.
Hello Ginnie--
Thank you for sharing King's "Letter from the Birmingham Jail." Somewhere in my college essays is a paper I wrote on that very famous epistle.
If interested, one of the members at Creative Thinkers International has posted the text of King's "I Have a Dream" speech on the site along with a portrait of King and Gandhi. I think it's still on the main page at http://www.creativethinkersint...
Have a great holiday and thank you again,

Thank you Ginnie for your shared insights regarding THE DIVING BELL AND THE BUTTERFLY; and for the link to the article on the movie.
This truly is one of those books and films that should not get lost in their categorization as one more worthwhile choice for good entertainment. What they share with us about the profound depths and resources of the human spirit, and the ability of literary art to help us explore and retrieve empowerment from those depths, is something beyond remarkable. In many ways they give us the kind of wisdom and actual strength we need to cope with the chaos running so rampant in our modern world.
