As to Terry Pratchett I have enjoyed many of his books but I was put off from him for years by the terrible Rincewind books. I read Clour of Magic when it was new and did not like it at all. If you want to try Pratchett, start with his later books about the Watch.

My wife and I really loved his book. I find it sad he died young and sad that he had nothing else published.

I read "John Medicinewolf" about 15 years ago and I still occasionally use the line, "and here is the feather to prove it."

A slow and not very compelling read. I feel the author did a terrible job with jumping around in a non-linear way. I would not recommend this book.
