review of Mindless Eating: Why We Eat More Than We Think:
"I bought this book at a conference after reading just the title. Fully aware that I myself am a mindless eater (most of us are, so don't think you're immune!), I was curious to see what the book had to say about our eating habits. This book was v...more " | |

And to comment on what you aptly called a "veritable reading frenzy," I shall say this: "One often finds reading more interesting when one is without TV or internet."
To rescue someone from a high ropes course, you must climb the course yourself (using tools called "lobster claw"). Then you hook yourself to the cables above and swing over to the victim. Once you have assessed the damage (seen if the victim is conscious, etc.), you set up a belaying pully hooked to the cable above and to your belaying system hooked to you. Then you hook your victim into this pully, put the brake on your belaying system, and cut their original ropes. This means that they are now completely sustained in the air with your pully. Once this is complete, you slowly belay them to the ground.
The only two books that you have given "one star" are I KISSED DATING GOODBYE and MY MORTAL ENEMY by Willa Cather.
HELLO!! HARSH!
I mean, come ON!
You just put I KISSED DATING GOODBYE and WILLA FREAKING CATHER on the same level!!! Who are you? Tsk, tsk, tsk.
I quit reading War and Peace around page 200... "Am I reading this because I am enjoying it or because it's famous?"
