I've never challenged myself to read any number of books in a given year nor have I ever really kept track of how many I've read in a year. Over There is the absolute #1 show that should have aired more than 1 season. If you never watched it, rent the DVDs (if there out there). It's a tame version of Generation Kill (since it was on TNT or something).

I really wish Moonlight was given a shot. Hell, they had the first season airing on Friday nights. Stupid!
I loved The Unusuals because it was so quirky and different than other cop shows. Southland was gritty and so totally awesome. NBC dropped the ball there. The makers are shopping the 2nd season around since they were halfway through filming the season. The Beautiful Life was my guilty pleasure show for this season and they only gave it 2 episodes. Talk about being hasty. I miss TNT's Wanted.

Dollhouse is an awesome show and the last ep. (Oct 23rd) was so great. Too bad we have to wait until Dec to get some more.

Seems like networks put money into some shows and let others flounder with marketing and such. When they don't perform as expected, they get relegated to Friday nights and then when they hurt even more in ratings the networks feel justified in cancelling the show. Networks suck. I see what others are reading in my friends list here, look for other authors shelved in my fav sections at book stores, see what Amazon suggests I may like based on past purchases and read book descriptions in my Entertainment Weekly (though I never trust reviews of any kind).
