Ciao, Massimiliano!
Thank you so much for your friends request. I was immensely pleased. I was really happy to read you're from Italy. My maternal grandparents moved from Italy to Canada a long, long time ago, and I'm very proud of my heritage. My mother and her sister grew up here, and had a chance to visit with my grandmother when they were teenagers. I hope to one day be able to visit. I know a few words, but not much, and hope to one day be able to speak it fluently as well. LOL, that way I can get around when I am able to visit. Although my grandparents have passed away, I still have lots of family here that are from Italy and I'd love to be able to connect with them on a different level. *sigh* Maybe one day... Meanwhile, thanks again.
Hi Lobagris.
You're welcome !
I'm pleased to get connected with you, as well as to know you lived in Italy !
You're one of my few connections from South America, and think one of the few, if not the first, from Argentina....
Thanks again
Thank you for the friends request! I'm pleasantly surprised by it and, of course, I'm adding you (you'll be my second friend on Goodreads and from Milano nothing less!).
I lived in Italy when I was a kid and even though I've lost the ability to speak "la bella lingua" I still can read Italian and deep down I treasure the memories from that period in my life as one of the most delightful times in my childhood.
Italy is such an enchanting land!
You're welcome, Cissy !
Many thanks for being my Goodreads friend, Cissy !
I'm pleased to get to know you lived and visited Italy, and that you liked it :)
It's great to me as well to meet you.
Have great lovely readings !
Thanks for the friends request, Massimiliano!! I have lived and worked for one summer on the Island of Elba... Loved it!! :) and have traveled in Italy... it is one of my favourite countries in the world. Great to meet you here on GoodReads!!
I want to apologize for the all the recommendations from me today. I wanted to share the Stoker Award news, and I only pressed the send button once--I'm not sure what happened to create so many messages. Some weird glitch.
Argh...this is terrible...
Again, I'm very sorry.
-Jeremy
Hi Santhie,
You're welcome!
As to your knowledge about Italy, I still remember you the notes I wrote in your inbox....
Here’s wishing you a nifty New Year filled with noiseless noses, neato nicknames, noble Nebraskans, gnarly narcoleptic nebulas, and novel novels about nut-eating narwhals and novercaphobic gnats.
-Jeremy :)
P.S.—I’m currently offering autographed/personally-inscribed copies of my novel, Vacation, with free shipping for those in the US. If there’s anything you could do to help me spread the word about this, I’d really appreciate it. Feel free to click here for details:
