false334676 I am journeying? I am living. I am questioning the journey? I know that i have so much more to learn. I am not sure the "benefit" of it however. That phrase, "the more i know, the more i know i don't know" is very apt. As is "ignorance is bliss". I used to believe as Socrates did that a considered life is the only life worth living.. I am now at a point where i do not know if i believe this is true. In fact i no longer believe that Truth is the keystone. I used to believe in "Ultimates", now i realise that was part of my Story. I do not know what i believe or if it even matters. What i do know is that the Life we have here now is confusing, but it is what we have.
Perhaps in brief.. I am trying to reject what has not worked well for me. Detaching, trying not to grasp and hold onto to people or things.. and that is something i will have to try everyday..
If we are firefly's burning up in a proverbial second existence, then i choose to burn up as brightly as i can burn :)

Fri, 28 Aug 2009 05:04:49 -0700 Having been away from this site (and much of Life) for the last 16 months or so I can sense a change in myself. I held on to people and things.. tighter and tighter as i invested meaning and expectation in them (and "us" - me and them). This, i see now, was setting me up for pain and massive falls; and unintentionally hurting others.
My change in perspective is an ongoing effort - to live, touching people and things lightly, trying not to attach Meaning and tether ropes in complicated knots of binding. Letting go..
Some days i find it surprisingly easy and im shocked in quiet joy about that. Many days it's a dirty struggle of repeated screwups :s :)]]>

I am smiling realising that not only is the group still here but that i have a lot of posts and new unboxers to catch up on since last April or so :)
