This was a cute, readable book about a town whose founder discovered the evergreen typist practice phrase: the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog. Each time a letter falls off the statue dedicated to his honor, the town law forbids use of the letter that fell off. This is a little deep, but postulates that religion is just like anything else in life: adaptable to its time. Gets to questions of steadfast belief, and is particularly relevant in times of rigid ideology.
