          <body><![CDATA[I'd say the film is as good as the book, but not as complex.  They made some (reasonable) cuts from the story in order to keep it from being a 4-hour epic.  I thought the film delivered the important ideas even without the extra scenes.]]></body>

          <body><![CDATA[I used to keep flower gardens, but it's a constant battle to make the plants grow where I wanted, and not elsewhere.<br/><br/>That's pretty much the whole experience of gardening... encouraging growth in one place while violently discouraging growth in another.           <body><![CDATA[I normally don't go for historical-fiction-courtly-intrigue-type stories, but I enjoyed this one more than I expected.  I even spent time looking up the art referenced to put faces with names.  A deft fictionalization of real people.]]></body>
