Here's the deal - the book wasn't terrible. But it was basically the same plot line as the DaVinci Code. At one point I was so frustrated that Brown was doing the exact same thing he'd done in DaVinci that I almost decided not to finish the book. But I did. After a cooling off period I decided that the book wasn't rubbish but considering it's been 6 years since DaVinci Code I don't think this book was worth the wait.

For covering such depressing songs and getting MacArthur Park stuck in my head for two days, this was a hilarious read. Reynolds has an excellently sarcastic wit and pretty much hits the nail on the head with each song. I found myself laughing out loud while reading. Sure, people may look at you funny if you're reading this on the train (especially if you're giggling to yourself), but it's worth it.
