I agree that Richard has very few flaws. He is very gentlemanly, but that's kind of a relief after reading so many recently published Regencies where the heroes are not gentlemen. And I don't mean that they're not rich, because they all are.

This is really one of my favorite series. I think the world that Shinn has created is very interesting and her characterization is pretty good, too. I never really found myself disappointed with the books in themselves -- only in comparison to other books in the series.
