My first stab at the Fabletown series. Definitely was original enough to keep going until the end, but over all it was pretty dumb. Stereotypes everywhere, and the constant change in art styles was really annoying. Also, not a comic book for kids.

This one wasn't nearly as useful as I had hoped. Some unique ideas, but I think a lot of the art style is too messy for my taste. It does use found material, which I like, but it feels sloppy.

This is so useful I may add it to my permanent collection. Living next to the library is the only thing that prevents me from buying a copy. (I NEVER buy books I can get for free.)

“It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.”
J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Robert Fulghum
“We’re all a little weird. And life is a little weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness—and call it love—true love.”
Robert Fulghum, True Love

Lauren Oliver
“I know the past will drag you backward and down, have you snatching at whispers of wind and the gibberish of trees rubbing together, trying to decipher some code, trying to piece together what was broken. It's hopeless. The past is nothing but a weight. It will build inside of you like a stone.
If you hear the past speaking to you, feel it tugging at your back and running it's fingers up your spine, the best thing to do--the only thing--is run.”
Lauren Oliver, Delirium

J.K. Rowling
“Numbing the pain for a while will make it worse when you finally feel it.”
J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Jean-Paul Sartre
“I'm going to smile, and my smile will sink down into your pupils, and heaven knows what it will become.”
Jean-Paul Sartre, No Exit
