I got up to chapter 11 in this book. It a great grammar book and I learned alot, but I did not find the CDs very useful except for the conversations. I may finish the last 2 chapters eventually, but I am taking a break from it for a while.

I found this short story ebook free at Amazon. I've never read anything by Tom Harper and it sounded interesting, so I thought I would give it a try. I liked the writing style, unfortunately, the story really did not make much sense, especially the e ...more
Carlissa and 5 other people liked Michael J. Sullivan's blog post: Signed, sealed, and delivered.
"It's been a big week at the Sullivan household. The creative juices are flowing, and I'm 70% through the writing of The Death of Dulgath. Near as I can calculate, I'm about two weeks ahead of schedule and will have the book ready for alpha reading..." Read more of this blog post »

“I believe that we must align our actions with our highest principles. No matter the outcome, we will not have failed if we act from our best intentions.”
“The road to hell is paved with good intentions, Captain,” Chakotay said with equal certainty.
“So is the road to peace,” Cambridge observed.”
Kirsten Beyer, Star Trek: Voyager: Children of the Storm

“You can have all the sympathy in the world," she said, "just don't feel like you have to wrap your life around it.”
Judy Reene Singer, Still Life With Elephant

Blake Crouch
“There were moments when you saw the people you loved for who they really were, separate from the baggage of projection and shared histories. When you saw them with fresh eyes, as a stranger might, and caught the feeling of the first time you loved them. Before the tears and the armor chinks. When there was still the possibility of perfection.”
Blake Crouch, Pines

Jasper Fforde
“Everything comes to an end. A good bottle of wine, a summer’s day, a long-running sitcom, one’s life, and eventually our species. The question for many of us is not that everything will come to an end but when. And can we do anything vaguely useful until it does?”
Jasper Fforde, The Woman Who Died a Lot

Sarah Addison Allen
“Oh, please. Everyone in this town always says that, like you have to be born here to understand things. I understand plenty. You're only as weird as you want to be.”
Sarah Addison Allen, First Frost
