It's been hard to come up with summer concerts I want to see. I ended up missing out on Radiohead - which I heard was incredible. I saw Coldplay last time around so I think I'll skip on them this summer. I wanted to go to Bonnaroo, but we have a wedding to go to. I guess there aren't any big acts that really have me excited this summer - so I'm kind of bummed.

I thought I'd chime in on the American Idol thing. Michele - you brought up some good points. I have pretty much been out of the loop on American Idol because to be honest I find it horrible, but when you are surrounded by people that adore it I try not to get negative and let people just enjoy what they enjoy.
I prefer the creative songwriters and musicians where the focus is not on fame and fortune, but expression and creation. AI represents my whole disdain for the music industry at large. I think the pendulum will eventually shift the other way.... it just seems like I've been waiting forever. ]]>
