Frankly, after 15 pages, I realized I could not read this book. Using the "f-word" over and over does not constitute literary prowess. It seemed like it could be an interesting book of survival, but was ruined by the language. When I consider writers like Jon Krakauer, who did not resort to crude language, I think this author will never compare. A very interesting story of a young Iraqi woman and her quest to see herself become a doctor. She ends up working for the Americans at the hospital, but finds that her father is perhaps the head of terrorists in Mosul.
