I was really looking forward to reading this book, but I stopped reading it about a third of the way in. I think The Ayatollah Begs to Differ is such an amazing book about life in Iran. Once I read it, I just felt Reading Lolita in Tehran couldn't compare with it or hold my interest. I enjoyed hearing some of the inspiration and evolution of The Secret Life of Bees, but overall I just did not like this book. Never got into it.
