I have read Dracula by Bram Stoker which I really enjoyed though Van Helsing's speeches can get a bit wordy, in my opinion.

I also liked The Vampire Armand by Anne Rice; it's book #6 in her vampire series. It's the only one I've read so far but I'm hoping to read the rest.

And I recently finished The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. I couldn't put this book down! I definitely recommend it.
