I enjoyed the beginning of this book much more than the rest of it. The writing is good and I sure want to visit a real lighthouse now.

Fascinating info. The author inserts herself into the piece too often and the jokes are forced. I've long been committed to donating my body, and this just reaffirms that. It was too gross to read before dinner, though.

While the ending had a far too long "sum up" section, and the timeline was sometimes awkward (move forward in time but then report conversations in the meantime in the past tense?), this was another enjoyable Sarah Dessen.
