Basically a rehash of The Ommnivore's Dilemma, but with more wonky science and not as much interesting storyline. I loooooooved Omnivore's Dilemma and would recommend that out of the two. The story of the social/political/cultural/economic/environmental/biological effects our food options and choices. I was instantly drawn into this book by his vivid characters and writing style. As I reached the end I feared I would be disapointed by the protagonist's decisions regarding his life, but ended the book pleasantly surprised. I can't wait to read his Pulitzer Prize winner, Empire Falls.
