This is a collection of Sookie Stackhouse short stories that have been written over the years (none of them are "new" stories). I liked it and read it through in a night.
I wish I would have read "One Word Answer" of what had happened to Hadley, Sookie's cousin, before I read Definitely Dead because I was thoroughly confused as to what was going on when I started that book, but that's really not a complaint about this book at all.
I get the ominous feeling that there will be repercussions from "Gift Wrapped" in future books. I'm hoping not, but you never know with Harris where anything is leading since Sookie's world is so all over the place.
All in all, entertaining. ]]>

I loved Twilight. I love Midnight Sun, even if it is a partial unedited draft.
That being said, I would have been happy with these two books and none of the other ones, and I say this after reading them all. When I originally read them, I couldn't wait to read more about Edward and Bella. Now that some time has gone by, I"m standing with my opinion here. It was always about those two - I didn't need any werewolves or vampire babies to make it any better. ]]>

Again, not a huge fan of the whole Quinn story line, but really liked this book and obviously it's part of the story. I like that Sookie and Eric are getting closer. It was nice to see Barry the Bellboy again. ]]>

I like this book a lot, though I was thrown off by the Hadley story line until I read online that that information was in a short story that I haven't read. I kept thinking "Wait, I KNOW I read these in order, why don't I know any of this?"
I will admit, at first Quinn didn't bother me but I don't want him with Sookie. I am an Eric fan. That being said, I enjoyed this story and of course am immediately going on to the next book. ]]>
I love this series of books, but this one I loved just a tiny bit less.
I think I am more interested in Sookie/Eric/Bill/Sam than the rest of the cast. ]]>
