This book left me very unsatisfied. I really wanted to know what was going to happen to the characters which is why I kept reading it in the first place. It wasn't as bad as Allegiant though. Still mad about that one.

Nothing remarkable about this book or the storyline. It was cute though and kids will like it. It's easy to read and they will be able to relate to the feeling of not wanting to go to school. The grass isn't always greener though.

This book shows how art can be a wonderful form of expression for a child and help them through difficult times in their lives. I wish every school would take this to heart.

Very cute premise. Every librarian wishes all children could find their "pet" book. And all mothers will be able to relate from the time they threw out/gave away their child's favorite anything.

Felt like a book written for common core. I do realize there is a need for that, but I prefer books for the fun of reading.

Hmmm...I kind of wonder if I had sent this book to the publisher instead of Melissa Gilbert if it would even be sitting on shelves right now. If you have a snooty French bulldog for a pet, you'll love it though.
