This book was cute and the characters were endearing. It's about 4 women who start up a catering business. Each chapter switches in point of view, which I tend to like. Some of the stuff was a little mushy, and some of the comments made me (a stay at...more

I really enjoyed this book. I have a lot of preconceived notions when I read Christian fiction, but this one had a great plot and very convicting lessons. Plus I really liked the way the book ended. I was kind of expecting the author to kill one of t...more

I just picked this book off the shelf with no idea what it would be about, but it turned out pretty good. The book is written from the perspective of a girl who is struggling with anorexia, but that is just part of what is going on. Her dad was a min...more

Pretty quick read, but very enjoyable. It was interesting to learn about Paula's life. She's definately not a literary genius, but it is a heartfelt, funny book that keeps you turning pages. Plus at the end of each chapter is a recipe.

I don't know how to respond to this book. It was different than anything I've read before, so for that I give it credit. The story is about a young man on death row who wants to donate his heart to the sister of the girl he killed. Plus there is a li...more

Finished this book last night. I kind of liked the ending, it left you thinking and didn't wrap everything up all nice and tidy. I could have definitely done without all of the description about life in prison. If it hadn't been for that, I would hav...more

This was a very well written book, but was very sad. There was not much hope for many of the characters, but the plot left me wanting to read more and more until I finished this beast of a book. It was pretty realistic, which is the saddest part. I t...more
