Since I am currently studying children behavior, this story is a good read and a good way to study at. Carr is very good at creating characters that you would wish they were existing. A combination of history and fiction that anybody would read it, might find himself engrossed with the pages. Carr provided pieces of puzzle, that readers would choose to solve the puzzle as well. It is par better than any fiction..He created a world where people are almost complex and as detailed as the environment.
The book, almost, provided accounts why a certain individual can act this way and what drives this individual to run his life that way. To understand one, going back to his past experiences is a significant process. Sometimes, our society tends to judge persons without knowing why they were acting and committing deeds which were far from normal.. Thus, understanding previous experiences should keep in mind. The killer, made Carr likable in some points at the end and reader would sympathize because in some sort the reader would understand the context.
This is one of the best books I'vc read and if you wish to read this, do not commit yourself into other stuff because it is highly addictive.. :)
