I found this book to be very powerful and moving. I believe that society was the real monster in this story for refusing to accept Frankenstein's "Monster" because he was different.

This novel is most definitely a classic because the themes portrayed in it )such as the questions of humanity, acceptance, differences, etc.) are still issues we struggle with today. I think it is the ability to relate to a novel that makes it important and over time, makes it a classic.
