What I liked most about this book is the setting, which if you've ever been to Cape Ann in Massachusetts, you would recognize. I enjoy trying to figure out the murderer before it's revealed in a book, but this one was too difficult for me and I was blind-sided!

Started this book via CD on a long driving trip. Didn't finish it so grabbed the book. It's definitely got the King creep-factor going, so far!
Well I'm done and really would like to see a movie version of this book (ala The Mist). One thing I wasn't prepared for was waiting for something scary to happen. It was mostly packed in at the end of the story although there were two somewhat scary incidents before the 400 page mark. I guess I wanted it to be scarier, from the get-go, like other King stories. But still a great book.
